As a voting member of the Republican Party of Florida, your State Committeewoman plays a crucial role in determining the path the Republican Party will take in the years to come. At the county level, your State Committeewoman serves as the point of contact between the State and County Executive Committees. As a Board member of the County Republican Executive Committee, your Committeewoman plays a significant role in the day-to-day operation of your County Executive Committee.
Despite its importance, State Committee position is the only elected position in the State of Florida lacking legislative authority and pay. That’s right, State Committeewoman is a volunteer job.
